Lifeguard
​This position requires the successful course completion and current certification of CPR, Lifesaving, and First Aid.  The job entails the careful guarding of the pool while anyone is in the water, performing basic maintenance tasks, attending the sign-in desk and assisting members and their guests upon their arrival.  Lifeguards are also responsible for the enforcement of Club policies and rules.  For 2013 this position pays an hourly rate of $7.50 for first year guards, $7.75 for second year guards, and $8.00 for third year guards.

Lifeguard Bonus Plan
Assistant Managers and licensed pool operators assist the Manager in the operation of the Club. Assistant Managers work with training, scheduling and supervision of staff, and the enforcement of Club policies and rules.  In addition the certification requirements of the Lifeguard, the Assistant Manager or Pool Operator needs to maintain a current Montgomery County Pool Operators License.  Pay rates depend on experience level of candidate.

Assistant Manager & Pool Operator
Manager
Managers operate and maintain each club's facilities in a safe and efficient manner. Managers are responsible for the daily operation of the club including equipment maintenance, scheduling, supervision of staff, and the enforcement of Club policies and rules.  Managers typically have prior experience as an Assistant Manager and Lifeguard.  Managers are required to have all required certifications.  Pay rate depends on experience level of candidate.
Swim or Dive Coach
Swim and Dive Coaches, including Assistant Coaches, plan and conduct an entire competitive summer swim program as sanctioned by the Montgomery County Swim League (MCSL) or Montgomery County Dive League (MCDL)
​For our guards who love to work and are extra responsible and hardworking we offer a season-end bonus of $.50 an hour (for each hour worked during the summer)  based on the following criteria: 
1. Total hours worked must be at least 300 for the summer season.
2.  You must be available to work at least 3 weeks between August 1 and the end of the season.
3.  You must be constantly working at the pool while on your shift unless your manager tells you to take a break.
4.  You are not late for work more than 3 times during the summer.
